Elizabeth Forrest spent 11 years in Japan, immersed in the art of printmaking and she has a wealth of information to share about this vast topic. A small but very interested audience attended her 2 hour lecture at Gerrard Art Space today, where the annual Printmaking Show continues until July 15th.
Obviously, I can’t summarize the centuries of artistic development that we learned about, but I can share online resources that we were shown.
